Recent Listens
Every blogger needs a soundtrack, and lucky for me, I just so happen to own a lot of CDs. From Selena Gomez & The Scene to Charli XCX to the Twin Peaks Soundtrack, my collection spans the entire length of my childhood and follows it into my twenty-somethings.
CDs were the medium of choice in our household, and as a result, I became the proud owner of many. I remember my very first CD player, a small pink Barbie boombox, and then later my first stereo.
CDs from my childhood comprise roughly half of my collection, most of their cases scratched or cracked from repeated plays and/or being shoved into the glove compartment of my Subaru.

Once I started using Spotify on the reg, I stopped listening to albums all the way through. I'd scrub through random songs until I found one I liked. Consequently, there are many songs from artists I love that I probably have never heard.
I decided that I must revert back to the CD-listening days of my youth in order to relive the childhood magic of listening to songs for the first time.
